Hedging plants produced in containers or pots can be planted at any time of year, although in the first year they must be watered if they are planted during the growing season, which is typically from March to October.

Depending on the type of hedging plants you select, there is an optimal time to plant a hedge.

Several can be grown year-round, while others are only seasonal:

Between November and April, bare root hedging plants: These are the least expensive options; they are grown in the field, lifted, and then carefully packed and delivered to you fresh and prepared for planting. This is the ideal time to plant them because they are available from November to April when the plants are dormant.

Root ball hedging plants are available from October to May. They are gorgeous, huge, bushy plants that have been produced in our fields over many years with plenty of room. They provide an immediate impression at a reasonable price. They are accessible from October through the beginning of May since they have a slightly longer dormant season.

Hedging plants in pots, year-round: Due to the fact that there is no root disturbance and hence no plant trauma, these hedge plants are supplied to you in the pots in which they have been cultivated. We don’t need to wait till the laurels are dormant; we can plant them at any time of the year.

All-Year-Round Instant Hedging Plants: These pre-grown hedges can be planted whenever you want to provide immediate hedges when and where you need them, much like potted hedging!
